Introducing… the new and improved Topaz! This is the first page of TOTALLY NEW content, drawn in the actual year 2017.
After taking a preview of the comic to a few conventions and feeling people out, I decided on what direction I wanted to take the comic into. I hadn’t redesigned these characters in any substantial way since I was in my teens, and I felt they needed to better represent me and the story. I hope you like Raul and Meredith’s updated looks! I will continue to make improvements on their designs and my general artistic abilities (I hope) as the comic continues!
How does one accomplish such a retcon? Oh, very easily.
This weekend, I’m going to be at Spe@k! in Kankakee, Illinois. I’m excited to meet more local creators! Wish me luck!
